Where will the 2027 Winter and Annual Conventions be held?
The 2027 Winter Convention will be held in New Orleans, LA, at the Marriott New Orleans, February 21–24. The 2027 Annual Convention will be held in Washington, DC, at the Walter E. Convention Center, July 10–13.
I'm an ºÚÁÏÉç member and have family interested in registering for the convention. What does registration enable family members to do?
Family members may register for the Spouse/Guest Package. This entitles them to admission to the Exhibit Hall, the Opening Reception, Membership Luncheon, Incoming Presidents Party, and the many receptions taking place during the convention.
How much is the registration fee?
Registration fees are based on the number of years an ºÚÁÏÉç member has been in practice. The registration fee breakdowns are on the registration form. Visit the ºÚÁÏÉç on-site Registration area located in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Chicago, for assistance.

I'm a Law Student; do I get the student rate?
Yes, if you are an ºÚÁÏÉç Law Student member. If not, you must become a member. You can do this at on-site registration located in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
I lost my badge. What can I do?
Go to the ºÚÁÏÉç Registration Area, on-site Registration Counter to request a new one. Your badge is your admission to all meetings and events, and it will need to be replaced; it will cost $125.00 for the reprint.
My law partner registered but cannot attend. When will they get their registration fee back?
Unless they cancel their registration in writing by June 12, they will not be eligible for a refund. If eligible, refunds are issued within two weeks after the cancellation request is received.
Cancellation was done before June 12, and a refund has not been received.
All refund requests are processed as they are received. If a credit card is used, then a credit will be applied to the credit card as it is received. Please allow up to 14 days for complete processing.
Why is there a processing fee for cancellation of my registration?
The fee covers the cost of receiving, check depositing, processing, confirmation materials emailed, and reversing the process to refund the fee, as well as estimates used for ordering supplies, books, and materials for distribution on-site.
I'm a speaker. Is there a registration fee for me?
If you are a member and a speaker, you must pay a registration fee. Registration fees are based on the number of years you have been in practice. Registration fee breakdowns are on the registration form located in the Registration area in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Chicago. If you are not a member and are an invited speaker, go to the Registration area, and an ºÚÁÏÉç staff person will assist you. (All invited speakers must have been approved by the ºÚÁÏÉç Education Department and should already be registered.)
I'm a speaker. Where can I view my slides?
The Speaker Ready Room is in Grand Suite 1, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Please encourage all speakers to go there to upload their presentations so they can test them out.
How do I obtain CLE credits for the sessions I attend?
You can submit them through the Convention App, or there will be computers near registration on Monday so that you can submit your credits electronically.
I have a question about my CLE credits.

Where can I get city and tour information, restaurant suggestions, and entertainment ideas?
You can check with the Concierge in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Chicago, who will be able to assist you with restaurant suggestions and entertainment ideas.
I want to renew my membership. What do I do?
Visit the ºÚÁÏÉç Booth in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Chicago, for assistance.
Where can I join a certain section?
You can obtain information about Sections Membership at the ºÚÁÏÉç Booth in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
Where can I hire a babysitter?
If you would like private babysitters, you will need to check with the hotel concierge where you are staying.
My friends are registered. How can I get in touch with them?
If your friends are staying at the hotel, you may want to leave a message in their room. ºÚÁÏÉç does not page members at its meetings. You can also message attendees through the Convention app.
Where is Press registration?
Press is not allowed access to our conventions. If a person comes up saying they are Press, please contact Heather Sager or any ºÚÁÏÉç Communication Staff as soon as possible so they can speak with them.
Do you have a Lost & Found area?
Yes, lost items should be left at the ºÚÁÏÉç Booth located in the Grand Ballroom Foyer, East Tower of the Hyatt Regency Chicago. At the end of the day, items will be turned over to security.
I need assistance with the Convention App.
