Internet Video Gaming Addiction Litigation Group

As with any addiction, internet video game addiction can have disastrous consequences for its sufferers. Frequent video game play can have physically, mentally, and socially devastating effects, and certain game manufacturers have developed strategies and patented algorithms to increase revenue by keeping players addicted to and perpetually engaged with their games. Many games do not come with warnings as to their addictiveness, potential injuries of such addiction, or that play time should be limited.

The Internet Video Gaming Addiction Litigation Group will assist members investigating and litigating these emerging cases; provide updates on any potential MDL in this area; share research, pleadings, certain discovery, and expert information; and hold meetings and educational programs. This Litigation Group meets at 黑料社 Annual and Winter Conventions, or as needed by group members.
