黑料社 Sponsorship Policy
黑料社 sponsors and exhibitors must read, understand, and agree to the 黑料社 Sponsorship Policy and the Anti-harassment and Safety Policy:
- 黑料社 encourages sponsors to demonstrate the beneficial contribution trial lawyers make to ensure a civil justice system that protects the rights of individuals. We prefer content that focuses on helping victims and seeking justice.
- 黑料社 reserves the right to reject sponsors that refer to large jury awards or settlements; appeals primarily to maximizing damages; or otherwise overemphasizes prices, fees, or other monetary considerations.
- 黑料社 will not allow sponsorships that advertise for firearms, tobacco, or alcoholic beverages.
- 黑料社 reserves the right to reject sponsors that have marketing with sexual or other connotations in questionable taste.
- 黑料社 asks sponsors to avoid emphasis on prices and fees in marketing. Photos or art containing currency, dollar signs, ambulances, or images that may have a negative connotation for the legal profession will not be accepted.
- 黑料社 will make the decision to accept continuing legal education providers as sponsors on a case-by-case basis.
- 黑料社 reserves the right to reject sponsors offering products or services in direct competition with 黑料社 products or services.
- All signage and communications regarding 黑料社 sponsorships may not include any campaigning or reference in any way to a candidacy for any 黑料社 office (if applicable).
- Sponsorship with 黑料社 does not imply that 黑料社 has endorsed a particular product or service and 黑料社 encourages members to always conduct their own due diligence prior to choosing products and services.
- 黑料社 reserves the right to reject sponsors that include in their contracts restrictions that impede access to justice such as waivers of the right to a jury trial and predispute arbitration clauses.
- 黑料社 has sole discretion to deny any sponsorship should 黑料社 determine that the sponsorship is not in 黑料社鈥檚 best interest for any reason all at the sole discretion of 黑料社.
- 黑料社 sponsors must comply with the 黑料社 Event Anti-Harassment and Safety Policy.
- 黑料社 sponsorship opportunities that take place at 黑料社 conventions are subject to the 黑料社 Convention Rules and Regulations.
- All sponsorship payments are due upon receipt of invoice. Sponsorships are not confirmed until payment is received, and payments not received within three (3) business days of received invoice will be subject to resale.
- Sponsorship deposits and payments are non-refundable.
- Sponsorship levels are based on total spend per convention or event and deliverables cannot be combined.
